Sunday - May 25th -

We left our hotel around 10:00 a.m for our drive to Galveston.  Great weather - not a lot of traffic.  We arrived at the pier around 11:15 - decided to go ahead and unload our luggage and try our luck at noon embarkation.  My husband left us at the terminal and went to the parking area.  It's really very close and he was back with us prior to 11:40.  We went through the first line and on to the fun pass desk to obtain our room keys.  Everyone was very friendly - and we were actually on the ship at 12:15.  WOW!

Last night we became acquainted with the ship and had a very nice dinner.  Our daughter immediately met some new friends and, off she went with the organized Carnival group.  Our son decided to wait until Monday to get started.

Monday - great beautiful day onboard.  We spent some time by the pool - our children swam - went down the pool slide and then off with their groups.  What a great vacation - fun for the whole family.
